Are we right for each other?

If you’re just looking for a new job, then we’re probably not for you. If on the other hand you’re looking for a place to land and build a rewarding career, then we’d love to hear from you. We’re not always hiring but we’re always open to hearing from exceptional talent.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

At SGL we’re looking for 3 things - Competence, Character and Culture. By that we mean…

COMPETENCE - can you fulfill the duties of the role and do you have the necessary skills to succeed? Are you coachable and teachable so that our investment in you will benefit both you and the entire organization?

CHARACTER - are you a good person? Are you the kind of person others enjoy working with and are you someone who will keep your promises and deliver on our promises to our clients? We’re looking for high-trust individuals who will make us better and stronger!

CULTURE - sometimes good people are a bad fit in the wrong culture so it’s important to us and to you that you are aligned with who we are and the heart behind what we do. Chemistry matters and we believe when we take time to explore our fit, when we do move forward, we give you and us the best chance of long term success.

OUR IDEAL TEAM PLAYER

Patrick Lencioni said it best when he described the ideal team player. We have to be Hungry, Humble and Smart.

HUNGRY - we want you to be driven and motivated to succeed for yourself and your family but also want to see those around you succeed. We have a never settle mentality which means we want our people to continue to pursue excellence and strive to grow personally and organizationally, every day. We work hard but we rest well.

HUMBLE - none of us have all the answers and we seek continual learners who recognize that they are part of a bigger team and that no one person can succeed in isolation. We believe it’s amazing what can be achieved when no one is trying to take the credit.

SMART - this isn’t about being clever or a quick thinker but rather Emotional Intelligence. Can you read a room? Do people enjoy being in a room with you? Are you kind and empathetic and sensitive to what others are going through?
